Watersave Australia Pty Ltd, specialists in water saving solutions for industry, is pleased to announce the URIDAN water-free urinal has been awarded the WaterMark product certification issued by Standards Australia International.
The WaterMark scheme reviews the level of compliance of plumbing products against standards dealing with risks to public health, environmental impact and security of water and sewerage infrastructure.
The URIDAN product is the next generation of water-free urinal that operates without the requirement to replace a waste trap cartridge. Instead a biodegradable odour blocking fluid is used and replenished after 5000-7000 urinal visits, equating to many months of use. The patented design of the waste trap delivers odour-free operation, providing building owners and managers with the opportunity to reduce costs while saving significant volumes of water.
URIDAN water-free urinals are manufactured in Denmark, a country noted for excellence in innovation and high quality design. They are available as wall-hung or pedestal models and can be supplied in eight colours to match any washroom.
